Stencils include drag-and-drop shapes for annotations, devices, flowcharts, and more — all with proper line weights and styles, so your drawings look consistent and professional.

Simple rules to keep things fair for everyone

  • A Solo License covers 1 user. Each person who edits drawings or uses the Toolkit should have their own license.

  • A Firm License covers 6–20+ users depending on the plan purchased; contact us for larger teams.
  • All licenses include 12 months of use and updates for all stencils and templates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Microsoft Visio to use this? +
Yes, these stencils and templates are specifically built for Microsoft Visio. You’ll need Visio installed on a Windows PC to use them.
Can I use these with your training courses? +
Absolutely. These tools are fully compatible with all of our drawing courses and help you follow our processes more efficiently.
Can I use them in client work? +
Yes! These tools are designed for real-world patent practice. You can use them in filings, drafts, or internal team workflows without restriction.
Do I need to format anything myself? +
No — every template and shape comes pre-formatted for consistent line thickness, black color, text size, and margins. Just drag, drop, and draw.
Will I get updates if I subscribe? +
Yes. We regularly release new stencils and templates, and your subscription includes all updates during the active 12-month period.
Can I use this without taking a course? +
Yes. While our training explains how to get the most out of the toolkit, many users benefit from the tools alone to boost speed and consistency.
What happens when my subscription expires? +
After your subscription ends, continued use of the tools is not permitted unless you renew. You’ll lose access to updates and are required to uninstall the toolkit to comply with licensing terms. You can still continue working in plain Microsoft Visio.
Can our whole team use the Toolkit if one person buys it? +
Licensing is based on team size. A Solo License covers one user. Small teams should select the Small Team License (up to 5 users), and larger teams should use the Firm License so everyone who edits drawings or uses the Toolkit has a seat.
Can we upgrade later if our team grows? +
Yes. You can upgrade from Solo to Small Team or Firm License at any time. We’ll simply apply your previous purchase toward the new plan so you only pay the difference.
What happens if someone shares the files with unlicensed users? +
Shared or unlicensed copies do not receive updates or training access, and they violate the license terms. Teams prefer the correct tier because it keeps everything simple, supported, and consistent across the firm.
Do support and updates apply to all users in a team plan? +
Yes. Every licensed team member under a Small Team or Firm License receives updates and support during the active license period.
